By: Curtis Crawford
Series: Who Do You Say I Am
Bartimaeus and his blind friend most certainly had heard the news of Jesus’ healings. While they could not see, their other senses were keen to know what was happening around them. They could hear the commotion and the chatter from the crowd as Jesus made His way closer and closer toward them. At that moment they made a choice that would forever change their lives. They did all they could to be noticed by Jesus.

It is not God's will for us to live in captivity and He can deliver us if we seek Him.

This all changed one day as Zacharias served in the temple. An angel appeared to him with a promise from God, "“Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John." (Luke 1:13) Zacharias was skeptical, but God delivered on His promise and many lives were changed. No matter how bleak things look, remember as long as God is on the throne there is always hope and hope in Him will never disappoint (Romans 5:5)!
