In Exodus 34 we see Moses descend from Mount Sinai and immediately the people noticed he was shining. The glory of God that surrounded him on the mountain left a literal impact upon Moses himself. Over time, however, the glory of God would fade until Moses went to commune with God once more. In 2 Corinthians three, Paul teaches us that because of the Holy Spirit who now dwells in believers, we should shine permanently and the veil has permanently been removed from our faces.
