Our Mission and Vision
It is the vision of Revive Outreach Church to revive an awareness of Christ in our communities through Christ-centered compassion, service, and evangelism. We desire to see the lost found, the hungry fed, the sick healed, the naked clothed, the depressed uplifted, and the oppressed set free. We believe meeting the physical needs of others is essential for effective evangelism. We also believe in the affirmation of the Gospel message through signs and wonders as promised by Jesus in Mark 16:15-18 and demonstrated through the ministry of the apostles as documented in the New Testament book of Acts.
Leadership Team:
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to “not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18).
Curtis Crawford, Pastor
Pastor Curtis began teaching Sunday school at the age of 13 and was licensed as a minister within the Church of God at age 20. During the past 22 years he has served as a Youth Pastor, Minister of Discipleship, Associate Pastor and pretty much everything in between. His passion is to revive an awareness of Christ in the city of Fredericksburg and surrounding communities through Christ-centered compassion, service, and evangelism.
Kelly Crawford, Director of Family Ministries
Ms. Kelly has worked in children’s ministry for over 16 years as a teacher and volunteer. It is her desire to see every child become passionate about God and His word. She believes children are the perfect age to hear and understand the Bible, share it with excitement, and begin a strong relationship with God, which can lead to an exciting lifetime of adventure. It is also her desire to help children learn to worship God “in spirit and in truth”. Through music and prayer time each week, children will learn to communicate with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on a personal level. In this way, children will understand at a young age Jesus in not a distant God, but a close friend.
